Square Enclosures -
With many sizes to choose from, our standard cans allow for a quick turn around on production sensitive items. We have low minimums allowing a prototype project to get off the ground without being stalled by huge small quantity charges. As with all of our enclosures, we can provide secondary modifications like threaded inserts, PEM Studs, stand-offs and feed thru terminals.
Send us your drawing today if you have a standard can that needs modified. Our experienced metal shop can tackle the toughest problems and recommend sensible, economical solutions to your OEM project. Custom sizes also available.
Round Enclosures-
In addition to modifications on the circular case, we have logistical relationships with metal finishers who provide plating such as hot solder dip and nickel for a turnkey solution to your sub assembly. Round cans can be used for electronic housings, fluid measurement, gauge instruments and capacitor housings as well as custom applications for the aerospace, industrial and defense industry.
Rectangle Enclosures - Along with our standard rectangular cans ,we can also provide hot tin dip plating, bright nickel or irradite. We have the ability to modify the can with tabs, threaded inserts, studs, feed thru terminals and brackets. As with all of our deep drawn enclosures, if a standard can does not fit your needs, we have low minimums and low tooling charges with quick turn production to meet the most stringent deadlines. Drawn Enclosures
|

A deep drawn round enclosure looks similar to a cylindrical tube with an enclosed bottom. The deep drawing process allows for a round, cylindrical can to be formed as a seamless casing. The round enclosure, like all our drawn and stamped metal parts, can be made with holes, flanged with bolt circles, pierced, coined, threaded inserts, feed thru terminals installed, pem studs stand offs and dimpled. For our custom round housings we have the ability to produce different geometrical shapes such as a hemispherical bottom and insert cover stops for round inside fitting covers on the open end.
Rectangular metal boxes and enclosures are produced by the deep drawn process forming shaped housings for specific size constraints. Rectangular enclosures come in many different materials such as; cold rolled steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass and copper. Some enclosures that are shaped like a rectangle are used in magnetics, relays, transformers and telemetry devices. For magnetic shielding, deep drawn metal enclosures can be made from a magnetically shielding material such as nickel or Mu-Metal.
